This stuff is no joke!! I had a load of laundry that ran through the washer and dryer. It came out smelling like sewage. I went to the internet to search the best possible cure (after cleaning both the washer and dryer) and came across advice to use an enzyme cleaner. Unfortunately, it didn't link this product. I did some digging on Amazon and found this product. The photo I am attaching is of the water left from a load that had ALREADY BEEN WASHED. There were no "new" clothes that had a lot of dye to shed. This was the amount of nasty that this cleanser pulled from my "CLEAN" clothes. I am so impressed, I am looking into building my own old school water wringer so that I can use this to soak stubborn and stinky clothes in the tub before washing, but still be able to ring them out despite my arthritis in basically all joints. For reference, I am a 36F who uses period underwear and I have a very active 5 year old. And THESE CLOTHES WERE ALREADY WASHED BEFORE SOAKING! I did not even leave them soak the full hour recommended. I started wringing out at about 45 minutes in so the last piece would be done before the hour mark. I don't leave reviews. This is amazing.

Wow! I knew my 14 year olds shirts and hockey gear smelled bad but seeing the water after they soaked was shocking. I was still hesitant, would they smell good after washing? The short answer is YES. His shirts came out of the laundry smelling fresh and clean and even after a day of sweating in them he still smells good. The hockey gear is trickier. What you need to know is how completely disgusting his gear was. It didn’t just have the normal hockey funk. It also had the cat urine smell because the cat had accidentally been trapped in the room with the gear one day and maybe from the smell or the shape of the bag the cat choose it go to the bathroom. Maybe you can picture just how gross it smelled now? Anyway, after soaking and washing the cat urine smell was gone! The hockey funk still lingered but I’m going to soak again and that should fix it. The down side is that now he’s just checked more. Apparently the smell had kept kids from making contact with him. The facts are that this product works and I bought two more bags so I can soak and wash everything else. Buy it, it does what it says it does.
